Our top Christmas Dishes

Here at William de Percy, we are officially getting into the festive spirit – with less than a month to go, we thought we would round-up our favourite Christmas dishes that you need to try during December. We have listed some of the cosiest food and most indulgent desserts, so keep reading to find out our top picks…


If you’re wanting something light that will undoubtedly warm you up then you need to try our soup of the day. Served with Trotter’s of Seahouses bread – it is the best wintery starter to your meal.

We also highlight recommend our Posh Mushrooms on Toast, with wild garlic and truffle infused cream served with a door wedge of toast – we recommend this dish with our dry Unoaked Chardonnay.



Our seasonal special this year is our Braised Ox Cheek in red wine & shallot jus, served with creamy mash potato, baby carrots, broccoli and crispy kale. This is the perfect dish to fill you up this winter – we recommend having this dish with our bold Cabernet Carmenere blend.

Alternatively, our Chargrilled Mediterranean Crepe Stack is a lovely vegetarian option. Filled with chargrilled courgettes and aubergines, wood smoked peppers, goats cheese and balsamic glazed red onions, hummus and hand cut chips – this dish will leave you feeling all warm inside.


It wouldn’t be almost Christmas if we didn’t provide a chessboard now, would it? A selection of British cheese is securely on our menu this year, served with homemade chutney and an assortment of biscuits. Guaranteed to make you feel festive just by thinking about them!

However, if you fancy something rich, and indulgent why not go all out with our Homemade Sticky Toffee Pudding. Served with vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce. Our mouths are already watering just thinking about it!
