Our Top Dishes

Join us in our wonderful bed and breakfast, we have a homely pub attached to the hotel, with fantastic food waiting for you to try. All of our food is locally sourced in the great Northumberland location. We would tell you to choose the whole of our menu, but even we don’t think that’s possible! So we have chosen some of our top dishes, to make it a little easier for you.

Le Petit Château restaurant picks

Or for something a little different, try our French styled château next door for some wonderful dishes. They have some lovely light bites and main meals. Don’t forget to try our sweet crepes!

Their famous sweet crepes are not for the faint hearted! We would suggest our most popular crepe for to get started in the world of Le Petit Chateau. This is the “rocky road, smashed chocolate cookie, marshmallow pieces, chocolate sauce and ground almonds.” A great desert or even a meal in itself!

Another one of our favourites is our locally sourced “Northumbrian Rib-eye Steak”. Cooked exactly how you prefer it by one of our excellent chefs. It is served with flat mushroom, crispy shallots, Provençale tomato and hand cut chips. The perfect dish for any occasion.

William De Percy pub picks

At William De Percy, we have some amazing food to share with you. With our signature dish being our Sunday Lunch. It is the perfect meal to relax with on a Sunday afternoon. We believe it is the best Sunday lunch in Northumberland. If you don’t believe us, why not try it for yourself? With all the components of the meal locally sourced, from the potatoes to the beef…it’s not to be missed!

If you want to share the experience, why not go full out and get our fantastic sharing platters. If you like fish, then you’ll love our “Captain’s seafood sharing platter”. It’s got all the fish you could imagine on it, from mussels to prawns to crayfish. The perfect fishy sharing platter.
