Alnmouth is a site of special scientific interest (SSI) due to its saltmarsh and dunes. The beach is next to the quaint town of Alnmouth, with plenty to do. The beach is open to dogs all year round, so there is no stopping you from taking a trip to Alnmouth beach for a great day out.
#3 Druridge Bay
Next to the village of Amble, a very spacious beach lies – 7 miles to be exact. With dogs allowed all year round, for the full stretch of the beach, it is ideal to let their energy out on this great beach. It also has several nature reserves hidden behind its dunes and near to the country park.
Queen Elizabeth ll jubilee Country park
Just behind the beach lies this wonderful park for all to enjoy. Home to a wide variety of wildlife in its woodlands and 40-acre lake. A great day out for all to enjoy.
#4 Seahouses Beach
Seahouses beach lies in the middle of Bamburgh Castle and Beadnell, with the town having excellent amenities for both tourists and the locals. With dogs allowed on both parts of the beaches all year round, making it a great space for your dog to let off its energy. The seaside town has great character with a harbour and quaint shops. As the tides fall out, then you will see an abundant of of rock pools great for the whole family.
Dogs are allowed on this beach all year, with sandy beaches for your dog to run around. Parts around the beaches are cobbles to add a little character. The nearest town is Ashington, with a great area for the whole family – Including your dog!
